As a North African (Libyan) woman, I don't agree with how you portrayed the Arab Spring movement. The Arab Spring has mostly failed and so in a sense, it may not be the best example to use. The Arab Spring was initially radical (as with any mass uprising), but it quickly disintegrated and failed to realize its promises to the Arab people. My country Libya is now considered a failed state and Libyans, including my family, are enduring much hardship. The successful overthrow of dictator regimes does not translate to a successful radical movement, unfortunately. It was only a successful beginning. Though I still think you offer some valid points. Thank you for sharing your perspective!
